Membership terms

The terms, in plain English

This is a summary of how Harbour membership works. The full terms are provided when you join — nothing in them contradicts what's here.

The basics

Membership is a rolling monthly plan collected by Direct Debit, with an annual pay-upfront option (twelve months for the price of eleven). There's no long contract: you can cancel with 30 days' notice at any time. Prices for new members are locked for 24 months from joining, and any later change is capped, announced early and paired with a new benefit. Benefits are personal and non-transferable, and treatment discounts apply to clinical fees, with laboratory costs charged at cost.

The 60-day promise and fair use

If you decide Harbour isn't for you within your first 60 days, we refund your membership payments — any care you've received is simply charged at member rates instead. After that window, a standard fair-use term applies in year one: if you cancel having used more included care than you've paid for, the balance is payable. You can pause membership for one to three months (travel, seasonal work) and keep your status and tenure.

Emergencies and appointments

Members are seen the same or next working day for dental emergencies — the Safe Harbour Guarantee: if we miss that window, that month's membership is free. Standard missed-appointment and late-cancellation policies apply to routine care; Premium members' late-cancellation charges are waived subject to fair use. Any insurance-style benefit (such as worldwide emergency cover) is provided by a partner insurer under its own terms.

Summary only; the complete membership agreement is provided at joining and prevails. Questions before you join? Ask them at your plans chat — that's what it's for.
